SOCIAL CARE SUPPORT
Our social care team provide assistance, support, and advocacy to Migrant Domestic Workers who have been subjected to modern day slavery and who present with additional needs relating to:
Assessment, intervention and review are important aspects of the work of the social care team. The team utilises an assertive model to engage and support migrant domestic workers. We work collaboratively with statutory and voluntary agencies and regularly convene case strategy meetings. The team advocates on behalf of Migrant Domestic Workers and facilitates pathways and channels of communication between statutory and voluntary agencies to improve conditions. This social work-led service ensures a coordinated and holistic approach to supporting Migrant Domestic Workers presenting with complex needs.
